WHO report suggest that India is the most depressed country in the world. Surveys conducted routinely revealed 10 percent of population requires professional help and medication.

2. Children at young age shows early warnings of mental health concerns.

Many of the children shows sign before the age of 14 years. Unfortunatelychildren with diagnosable don’t receive the treatment they need.

3. Majority of the people with mental health problems are not violent.

People with severe mental illness are 10 times more likely to be victims of violent crime than the general population.

4. People with mental health problems are just as productive as others.

When people with mental health problems receive effective treatment,there is an increase in the productivity.

5. Mental health problems is not related to being lazy or weak.

Mental health problems occurs due to biological factors, life experiences and family histories.

6. Studies shows people with psychological health problems gets better and recovers completely.

Processes like treatments, community services, rehabilitation helps people in the cycle of recovery.

7. Friends and loved ones can create a big impact in helping someone get better.

Reaching out, helping them access the services, treating with respect will bring a big positive change.
